Work under the direction of the Special Education Teacher/Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to facilitate learning English and American Sign Language/Pidgin Signed English (ASL/PSE) for students who are deaf/hard of hearing in a variety of settings.

Educational Sign Language Interpreter
This employee is responsible for assisting the teacher of the
deaf/hard of hearing in the classroom and providing interpreting services to deaf/hard
of hearing students in regular classrooms.
The Sign Language Interpreter works under the direction of the classroom teacher and
special education teacher.
