D-PAN , the Deaf Performing Artists Network, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by and for deaf and hard-of-hearing performers, professionals, and fans, The idea of D-PAN is simple: Create music videos of popular songs, featuring deaf and hard-of-hearing performers expressing the song lyrics in American Sign Language. D-PAN’s videos for John Mayer’s “Waiting on the World to Change” and Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” continue to be met with praise, enthusiasm, and support within the deaf, hard-of-hearing, hearing, and music communities. D-PAN’s videos must be shared with everyone!
